Gabriel Espinheira

Senior Full-Stack Engineer

I'm the engineer who cares how it feels as much as how it scales. For 12+ years I've shipped web, mobile and desktop products end to end, across 8 companies in payments, investing, property and healthcare. I start from the business goal, then design the data, APIs and interface around the outcome, side by side with design, marketing and business. I've led engineering on a European payments company's website revamp and AI support across chat, email and voice, and I use AI coding agents to spend my time on the decisions that matter.

Experience

SharpHaw

2026 to now

Founder · Lisbon

  • Built SharpOS, the studio's client platform, as its only engineer: realtime boards, docs, forms, automations and an AI support assistant, on Next.js, Electron and Expo apps over one Convex backend.
  • Wrote it test-first, with coding agents working against the specs: 39,770 unit and 140 end-to-end tests, 94.6% line coverage, one required CI check.
  • Untangled 137 circular imports into 53 versioned packages, and exposed all 220 operations over REST and MCP so agents use the same API as people.
